Slander

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? My husband and I are in the military and and we have a issue with a soldier that is slandering our names. There is a long story that goes with this. But now she has went throw our BN and told every one that we scamed her. Now we have other soldiers that are look down on us and making commets to us about how we scamed her. Is there and thing we can do?

Defamation laws can vary significantly from state to state, so when you were presented with the question "What is the name of your state?" that question really needed to be answered.

Without that information, and the "long story" that explains the facts and particulars of your situation, it is impossible to say if there is anything you can do.
