Soldier committed domestic assaultWhat is the name of your state? MO A US Army soldier (male) assaulted a civilian (pregnant female) that he was having a relationship with. This assault occurred off post at the civilian's residence. The city police were contacted and a report filed. It was a serious assault resulting in visable markings and a trip to the emergency room. Will the Army take any corrective action against the soldier? If so, what? Does the civilian need to inform the Army that this occurred? Or will they find out on thier own? If the civilian needs to contact the Army, how do they go about that / whom do they contact? Any additional information that would be useful would be appreciated! Thank you. |

| Please get a domestic violence restraining order. Contact JAG, give them the police report numbers and file a complaint with them as well, this will not affect filing for paternity or child support in the future, he will have to provide DNA to establish paternity if she is pregnant with his child.
