son's given general discharge from boot campWhat is the name of your state? Arizona My son was given a general discharge. His drug test came up positive for THC, 20ng, military says anything over 15ng is positive. He was doing good and was very sad that he had to leave. His commander gave his recruiter a very good report on my son. His commander did not want him discharged. He worked hard to get to where he was at, learning his alpha code in his first week, he knew all of his commanding officers in order by the 3rd week and attended his recruit meetings every week, never missed one. He also went to the recruiting office 3 days a week to help out. He was tested at Meps and passed and then a week later he comes up postive at boot camp. He had not had any pot. Please help if you can. He could have been a good sailor. He is also a caring person who helps others. He did not want to leave boot camp and really wants to be in the Navy. Thank you so much for listening. |

| That is amazing. Maybe you ought to get junior to get a hair test. Come up with some kind of evidence to show that he didn't use THC.

Did he have a history of drug use? Did he have a drug waiver?

no history of drug useThank you for your help. No he does not have any drug charges and no history of drugs. He is going to file a waiver but doesn't that take a year or two? Also they charged him 500.00 for his navy gear but when he left they wouldn't let him take any of it and would not give him any of his money back. I really don't understand why they would kick someone out that wants to stay and that is doing so good. |

| The Navy has a zero tolerance policy when it comes to drugs. No second chances. |
