my boyfriend went ua becaue he couldnt stand being apart from me and our newborn baby girl. he was classified a deserter from the marine corps but called his sergeant to get a plane back to camp pendelton on a tuesday and was told to call his sergeant back wednesday morning. but before he got a chance to call, he was arrested 5 o clock that morning. he was gone 38 days. How long will his punishment be and can he get a good career if he is discharged? california(only U.S. law)?
