"Unsatisfactory Participant" Army Reserves

I have two questions.

First of all, I was wondering if anybody knew of a solution to the problem I'm in. I've got a chronic respiratory problem and I can't do much without going into a state in which it is painful to breath and I cough-up blood. Unfortunately though, I haven't been able to get a diagnosis yet. According to the Army, anything that doesn't have paperwork to back-it-up is imaginary. I've missed a lot of 'battle assemblies' because of this illness and my unit has threatened me with discharge. Is there any way for me to not get a negative discharge and not cough up blood?

My other question is, what would be the downside to letting them discharge me? Would it be a Bad Conduct Discharge, a Dishonorable Discharge, or something else? They say I will "lose my benefits" but I don't get any benefits anyway because I'm too sick to pass the physical fitness test and that automatically puts me on disciplinary status. Will they make me pay back the benefits I've already received though? Letting them discharge me sounds like my only option but I'm wondering what the consequences will be.

Also, can I make appeals to change the status of my discharge later on?

First, the vast majority of problems that all people have create themselves.

Second, it is on you to go see the Doc and get treated and evaluated.

Third, the consequences from a bad discharge are far reaching (do a search
in our Forum) and elsewhere and see for yourself.

Lastly, it is a slim chance to get a discharge upgraded, though not impossible!

I don't understand how it's relevant how the illness was created. I got sick in the Army, but even if I had gotten sick on my own I would be in the same situation.

And I understand that "it's up to me to go to the Doc . . ." but in my case the doctors haven't been able to diagnose me with anything. So as far as I know there's no process by which it can be acknowledged by the Army. I'm not eligible for a medical evaluation. I'm not eligible for anything.
