Upgrade discharge due to weight control

What is the name of your state?What is the name of your state - NY

I was discharged from the Marines in 2000 due to weight control. I had a 22% body fat (max was 18). I could run a first class PFT, as a matter of fact my Final PFT was a first class. I recieved an General under honorable conditions. Because of this discharge not being an Honorable discharge I cant recieve the G. I. bill that I put money into for my first 12 months of service. I was looking to go back to school but cannot afford it, and I cant recieve Financial aid because they say I make too much. I have the form DD293 but from what I hear...you need representation or the likelihood of you getting an upgrade is a reach. And I cannot afford a lawyer neither.

Please help me out and/or point me in the right direction.
