Upgrade from OTH?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NC I've been out of the USMC since 01. I received an ADSEP 3 months before my EAS and served my full term. I was NJPed for a positive urinalyses and received the ADSEP along with a few other unfair punishments. I have tried to get the upgrade and was denied. The reason was drug use. After doing years of research I have come across many correlated studies that show persons with a Bi Polar disorder is more likely to abuse drugs. If this is the case, would my case have a better chance of getting over turned? It would seem like it would be some sort of discrimination if it wasn't looked at a second time. Any help or advise would be great. |

| This, along with every other piece of "advice" you have given in other threads today, is wrong. You can only get an upgrade if the original discharge was in error. Drug Use is always an RE-4 (or equivalent), and not upgradeable.

| I would argue that your poor advice sounded ignorant. |

| Yet you said "Any help or advise would be great." Learn the difference yourself.
