I was a witness and victim of an assault, during the court martial, my medical records were released for the trial. Since then, i have found that the defendant has obtained the copy of my medical records. Is this legal? He was convicted, served his time and was released, this being the case, should he have been given that kind of sensitive information to do with whatever he chooses?? Any information would be vastly appreciated.
