What is the appeal process?

What is the name of your state? My daughter has been sentanced to 3 months (if good behavior) and a less than honorble discharge. She is emotially unstable, I'm 100% sure she did not understand her rights when she waived them and signed the confession.

There may be information that supports her original statments in the hearing of the man that raped her. However, she has been deemed an uncrediable witness.

I need to know what I can do from here. She wants to #1 stay in the Navy. #2 would be to have an honorable or other discharge.

Also, her boyfriend (Navy too) is worried there are ramifications to his going to Special Sevices or medical school should the two get married and she has a "record".

Perhaps I need an aggressive, (female??) military hating attorney....

Any adivise, or comments are appreciated.
