What article of UCMJ is violated by lying?

Hi,

Had an enlisted servicemember lie to a senior non-com officer about his (the junior's) whereabouts.

Service member repeated his lie to an officer.

He also had derelicted duty by not being where he was supposed to be.

What provisions of the UCMJ are thus violated?
