Question

2 names on the deed, mine and ex!!! help!!!

Pennsylvania

Ok I have a mortgage loan with my ex. We split up and she left the property in October. My friends attorney had advised me to go back to the house after i had left otherwise she could get me for abandonment and i have no rights to the property any longer. She left in October and took everything...and i mean everything didn't leave me toliet paper or soap or anything!!!! She has not helped to pay the mortgage or any other bills since then. I had heard of this being legal but I'm not sure and need some help/advise....this is what I was told and want to know if there is any truth in this.
I was told that since she left the property and took what she wanted from it. (technically). So is there such a thing where he can have an attorney draw up something that states she abandoned the property and has been gone for so many days. so she either must sign off the deed or pay her half of what is owed on the mortgage?

HELP?HELP?HELP?!!!!!!!

Nope. Her legal right of ownership, as exhibited by her name on the title, remains just as it was. The fact of physical abandonment has absolutely nothing to do with it.
Your post says you have 'split up'.... but makes no mention of divorce. The property ownership is one of the things that should be resolved in the divorce order.

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!

What is the name of your state? Georgia

I have a very similar problem and I have not seen any replies that answer this.

It has been 10 years since I was divorced and in the divorce decree I was awarded the property in full. At the time, I didn't know that I should have had a Quit Claim deed prepared and had her sign.

For the last 5 years I have been trying to find her to sign one but I have had no luck locating her.

Can't a lawyer use the divorce decree to help me get her name off the property deed?
