Question

Abandoned House?

What is the name of your state? Oklahoma

We own 20 acres of land and have a mobil home on it. Our mortgage company took back the home and sold it. The new owner that bought it has not done anything with it. We still own the land and the house is still sitting there. It has been almost a year since this person took possession of the house. What is our right on getting them to move it off of our land and if he does not move it, what is our rights? Can we charge lot fee, if so what happens if he does not pay or move the house?

Send its owner a registered mail letter demanding its removal from your land ( maybe giving them 30 days to remove it )????? check your states laws for landlord and tenant and mobile homes you might have to follow that law even if they never rented land from you . then if the owner doesnt do so see a local real estate atty to get the best possible advice on filing a court action to force its removal . If you feel you uncomfortable doing the letter then pay a local atty to draw up a letter demanding its removal and have them handle the whole thing .
