after forclosure in Missouri

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? I am writing this for my friend. He has alzheimers. He has been forclosed on and the house is now sold. He has not been notified to move. I have called the attorney for Bank of America and was informed that they have not filed the unlawful detainer yet. My question is.. how much time does he have to move. Can he ask for a little more time as he needs help to understand and to get him moved. Please advise.. Thank you Terry

I have a very hard time believing the house has been sold and he still remains.

Who or what bank bought this property?

In fact, you are so astonishingly correct in this matter, it will not surprise us one bit if you are offered a generous settlement, because, by golly, that’s just how it should be.

If the bank bought the house, they may be a bit slow evicting. They may even be amenable to him staying a bit as a renter if the house is otherwise presentable. Occupied, well kept, houses sell better than vacant ones and are less subject to vandalism.

That's right.

Keep in touch with the bank.

Offer to pay rent.
