AZ forclosure law

What is the name of your state?arizona
Am I reading Az law right. It says if your property is less than 2.5 Acre and a single familiy dwelling if you are forclosed on the lender can not go after you for back payments, and interest. I am being forclosed on a OWC loan. Me and the seller were in a conflict over 4 years ago. Since that time the place has sat vacant and he is now trying to forclose. So according to him I am 4 years in rears on the home with interest and late fees. I am trying to figure out a reasonable way to get out of this mess.
