| Bank lien on mortgage after bankruptcy
What is the name of your state? Nebraska. My husband and I filed bankruptcy after his business failed and did a UCC filing to liquidate assets because the bank that lent money to his company had a lien on our home for $650,000. Our bankruptcy has been discharged since Dec. '04 however, we cannot seem to find anyone who can tell us how to remove the bank's lien on our home in the event we wish to sell it. We have reaffirmed with our mortgage company, altho have not received confirmation back from them--we continue to make our payments on time, they refund our overpayment of escrow funds etc. as if all is well. How do we remove the bank's lien? |
