Being Sued by CountrywideWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida We purchased a new home in a community with a club house and HOA. The home was purchased as an investment to resell in 2006. Due to the market and the economy we had to let the house go in order to keep our main residence. We just received a lawsuit from both the HOA as well as Countrywide suing for payment. Have you ever heard of this? Are we obligated to pay the HOA assessments if we are in foreclosure? We are not sure what we should do. Thanks, ROXY |

Tell Countrywide...I would call Countrywide they will be getting their money as soon as "your" federal bailout arrives. I mean they got one to keep them afloat, they should understand..... ![]() |
