Bold Funding

What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Ohio

Just as a follow up to a posting that I made in July 2004 *** http://forum.freeadvice.com/showthread.php?t=185765

In a letter dated October 12, 2004 the Cook County State's Attorney's office instructed Bold Funding to: a) Immediately cease and desist from offering, making, or funding residential mortgage loans in Illinois until the appropriate license(s) have been obtained. b) Immediately cease and desist from operating a credit repair business in Illinois until they have submitted a registration statement to the Secretary of State and also cease and desist from accepting monies in advance of rendering credit repair services until they obtain a $100,000 surety bond. c) Immediately cease and desist from falsely advertising a twelve year affiliation with the Better Business Bureau. d) Immediately cease and desist from falsely advertising the existence of seventy-four regional offices.

I have received dozens of private email from people who were also conned out of their money in desperate times. Does anyone know if it would be worth a shot to sue the owner of this company either privately or in a class-action suit?

Thanks for any help....
