| | Broker sending bill after closing Montana
We closed on a conventional mortgage over 1 month ago. We have received a bill this week for over $600.00 for an engineer survey from the mortgage broker who said they just received the bill and it was not included in our closing costs. We were originally going to go with an FHA mortage, but decided against it and went Conventional. We were never told by the broker when we decided to go Conventional that we would have to pay the Engineer fee. Now they are trying to collect this fee. Is this legal? I thought after signing closing papers they could not charge you any more fees! |

**A: pay the bill. Read your contract. You wanted a survey correct? | |
