Can the mortgage payment be paid by a credit card?

What is the name of your state? GA
Do you know whether the monthly mortgage payment can be paid by a credit card instead of a check or cash?

Maybe...

Ask your mortgage company, if they say no, then no. Typically they will not let you due to the fact the credit card companies charge a percentage of every purchase (2%-5%). Thats where the money for the miles, cash back, etc comes from.

I just sit and shake my head when something soooooo simple is ask on this site when a two second phone call will do the trick!

If YOU want to eat that percentage then you can always get a cash advance and pay the fees associated.

Why do you possibly say this?

Many people do not even buy a candy bar and cola anymore without charging it because of the various incentives out there when using the charge card. So that his post ask that question might have absolutely nothing to do with their ability to pay the mortgage!
