cancelling a loan

What is the name of your state?What is the name of your state?California. I sent the cancellation notice within 3 days after signing loan docs.,but lender still funded the loan. It was some mistake on their part. It's now over a month waiting on them to straighten out everything with the other banks. In the meantime,I can't refi with another lender until this matter is resolved. What recourse do I have in this situation?

Pray every second that you sent that notice by certified mail so you have a paper trail and that you have that bank acknowledgment in writing.

You can wait around another month or have an Atty to write a letter to them requesting an immediate resolution. That letter head can mean a lot, well sometimes.

Don't say you can not afford it because at this juncture you can not afford not to have someone on YOUR side to address this problem.
