Can't Sell Your Own House

What is the name of your state?State is IL. Can the city you live in stop you from selling your home if you legally disclose to a buyer what the problems are with the house or the buyer is willing to fix it? Can the city sue you for selling?

**A: why do you ask. Are we supposed to guess at your specific circumstances and issues being that our crystal ball is broken?

What does the person preparing the Real Estate paperwork say about it? I know Illinois statue does state that a buyer can cancel the purchase if a statement from Code Enforcement in not included in the closing paperwork-[as a pracical matter though, I know of no cases of when this has been enacted, but is is on the books nonetheless].
