Question

confused

I live in Colorado and my house is two years past due on mortgage payments. the bank put it in foreclosure abut a year ago and the unexpectedly stopped the proceedings and put the loan in restructuring for the last year without a request from me. I called and they said they didn't know how it got to restructuring without me requesting it but they finally released it to be foreclosed again? is this normal or ok?

Being two years behind on a mortgage is not normal. Whether it is "ok" or not depends on which side of the transaction you are on.

**A: not normal and it appears that someone or many people dropped the ball.

Yes, at least two people dropped the ball. Person A, who should have made sure the loan was foreclosed on and their boss Person B, who should have fired Person A about a year ago.
