Conveying a deed

My ex-wife was awarded the marital property in our divorce along with the payments. I was ordered to convey the deed to her. I am refusing to convey the deed because she is and continues to be delinquent in her payments. I have spoken to the bank and they told me that signing over the deed does not release me from my obligation to the bank. My ex-wife also told me that she wants me to sign over the deed because she knows of investors that will buy a deed but my name can't be on it. Moreso, I refuse. Today I was served with Contempt of Court papers and need to appear in court on 5/6/08. How can I make the Judge understand that it is not in my best interest to convey the deed over to my ex-wife?

Suggest to the judge that the deed be put into trust for the pending sale (and release of your mortgage obligation).
