Question

Credit Bureau Inquiries

What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? California

Hello again..

It seems I've had over 30 credit bureau inquiries since Dec. 2004 Does this lower my score eventhough I was shopping for a refi loan? I'm sure I haven't been working with 30 different lenders, or even 15.

If a mtg. broker has seriously lied repeatedly during the loan process, will a complaint to the Ca. Dept. of Corporations be a way to return some of this huge stress ball they have so kindly provided me?

Are there any other places I could file a complaint that will possibly stop thier gross negligence and misrepresentations. I'd like to see that happen before they have a chance to completely ruin other peoples lives who may not catch on in time as I did. Or as I hope I did!!

Thanks for being here! You people are great!!!

Don't forget, your current credit card company routinely makes inquiries. This ratches up the number of inquiries per month. I have had a BOA credit card for years, never missed a payment, yet they keep making inquiries that show up on my credit report. If you hold numerous credit cards, this will could result in a lot of inquiries. Lenders are usually on the lookout for inquiries from car dealers that would represent a major purchase and/or the granting of a large credit amount...

hmm

I wish that were the case, and I do appreciate the input. But I have no credit cards. A 1 yr old car loan that I've never been late on, yes.
