Deed QuestionWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? VA I am on the deed to our house but not on the loan. I have a judgment from a credit card company on me alone. They levied our joint account. Can they levy the deed to our home or the personal property inside? What is considered personal property? |

| Quote:
Place a lien on the property and/or your name?? Yes. Simply, a judgment creditor can seize/levy/lien and non-exempt property in your name as allowed by your state laws. Quote:

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport! |

| Hi wdawlaw. Who do you own the house with? Your spouse? Do you know whether you own the house as a tenancy by the entirety? The deed should specify. If the answer is yes, then your creditors will not be able to go after the house. I wish you luck. |
