defrauded on home mortgage

it is very complicated but here are some of the facts:

We did not recieve all of our money at the closing
The name of the brokerage was altered
We were promised a specific interest rate at closing, but they altered it and gave us a higher rate. Next we got a letter in the mail stating that they would send us a check every month making up the difference of the interest rate. That lasted about 3 months. After that no more checks came.
Our house was over appraised, the loan is higher than the actual value of the house.

They are backed by wells fargo. I think this is a serious case. We have all of the evidence! but we can't find anyone in the entire pittsburgh area that knows what to do.

We contacted the department of banking but they really cant even do much. We want our mortgage stopped until this is settled, and only a lawyer can do that.

You need a lawyer if you want to sue them for fraud related to the changes to your mortgage documents.

Where is the title company and your real estate agent/ attorney in all of this? This should never happen

If changed before you signed the documents, I don't see the problem here.

Once again, if they changed the interest rate before you signed, then that's the rate you get.

I'm shocked you got anything if your mortgage documents show the higher rate.

That is your own fault for not getting an appraisal. Decreasing home values are common right now, so it is not surprising that you are underwater on your mortgage.

Not gonna happen.

Great! I'm glad that, in the last 3 business days, you had SOOOO much progress on your case

Oh really? Well lets look at my first statement:
Quote:
You need a lawyer if you want to sue them for fraud related to the changes to your mortgage documents.
And what did you do? You got your lawyer to sue them for fraud? Hmmm. I guess I don't know jack.

So that's one direct question and two indirect ones which ask you what your mortgage really shows.

Besides "get a lawyer and sue them", that's my only other advice here. So, when you sued them, did they send you a written document telling you to stop paying your monthly mortgage payments? Hmm?
