Documentation, Recording HELP!!!!What is the name of your state? CALIFORNIA CALIFORNIA Is this possible? 1/14/04; The buyers of a home, sign a Deed of Trust with XY Bank on 01-14-2004. It records on 01-17-2004. 1/15/04; The owners sign a Grant Deed granting the buyers the home. It records on 01-17-2004. How can the buyer sign thier loan papers, one day before the owner has granted them the property, and both documents record on the same day? |

| How about the buyer and seller are at different locations. The buyer paperwork is signed on one day, and overnighted to the seller who signs the next day. The whole package is recorded at the same time of course. I can even imagine there being a couple days between the buyer and seller signing. The date recorded is the only important date. |
