Angry

facing forclosure

What is the name of your state? georgia,

1 yr ago, i bought my home here in georgia moving from Florida. while i was in florida i did all the paper works to buy the home via mail and fax. it is my understanding that i should have gotten a job here in ga in order to be approve on the loan. i was not able to find a job on time, so the mortgage broker made a deal with someone she new to pretend that he hired me as an employee just so that i can get approved for the loan. i agreed that i would comply since i was eager to get the which was my 1st home and my dream home.

but now my problem is, it's been 1 year since i've been looking for a job i have not been successful at it. and now i am almost 3 months behind on my mortgage and i am facing the option of forclosure.

what should i do?
should i sue the mortgage brokerage company since i was not suppose to have been qualified for the loan anyway?

This is a terrible example of a crooked mortgage broker only wanting their commission but you agreed to this shady practice. My suggestion is to do everything you can to sell the house and save face best as you can.
Find the local bandit signs that say 'I buy houses' call them and take what you can get.
You had a way out at the beginning but I don’t think you would have a leg to stand on with suing broker.

However, you wanted the home, you bought it, you lied yourself. What are you doing to make sure you make the payments? Have you found a roommate? Other than complaining, what actions have YOU taken to meet YOUR agreed obligation?
