Fiance and deedWhat is the name of your state? Ohio After getting engaged, my fiance payed for a barn to be constructed on my property. In return I added her to my deed. She payed for the barn (about 60k) from a heloc on her old place which she still owns. She is concerned that if I were to die, that my ex-wife would gain control of my current house. My ex and I have 2 kids. I want to know what rights my ex would have for my kids, and what I need to do to protect my fiance from getting the shaft. Would a simple will fix it? Also if the worst case were to happen, would my property be reappraised to include the new structures notwithstanding what is owed on any of it, since what is owed on it is tied up in a heloc from another property? How would the court view this? Also I have life insurance that covers my mortgage. |

| There are lots of possible scenarios to this 'deal'... I suggest you not try to 'cheap it' by online legal advise... go see a local attorney.
__________________ There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution). Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport! |
