Forbearance option

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? ohio
Is forbearance a good option for mortgage and will lenders agree to theis if we filed chapter 13 before we became late. Mortgage was not part of 13. Also how does forbearance work?

Every lender is different and so is every situation. You should ask the lender.

It's a payment plan agreed upon by borrower and lender to cure a default. They typically do not enter into a forebearance plan when the loan is not already in arrears.
