Forclosure Certain What is the name of your state? CAJust a quick question with possibly varied answers, I have lost my job, have no money to pay my mortgage, have not paid it for 3 months. I understand the dfficulties this poses for my future and credit , and have no means to work it out w/lender, just want to know how long does it take for a home in CA to be forclosed after a period of no payments? |

| They send you a notice of default. You have 90 days to make it right. The date of sale is set and published (must be published 21 days before the sale for three weeks). The result is it takes 120-141 days to do a non-judicial foreclosure. California is one of the longest (the 90 days redemption period is uncommon). |
