Forclosure Ohio

What is the name of your state? Ohio
My home was forclosed on in February. I been getting the things out of it. I went there April 16 to get the rest of the stuff that was there and they had locked down everything. Can they do that without giving us a notice? We were trying to be civil about it all because stuff in life happens but can they really just lock your home down with out any eviction notice? What is the name of your state?

There's a difference between leaving your possessions there and residing there. If you had been still living there, they'd have to evict you.

Are they denying you your possessions or just making you wait for them to bring the key by?

What stage of the foreclosure process is it? Has it gone to sheriff's sale yet?

If it WAS FORECLOSED in FEB, I would believe we are way past confirmation of Sheriff's sale by now. How long was the poster planning to wait? This is April after all. How many months had you already been living there without paying?

Call the Purchaser at Sheriff's sale and ask to meet them/their prop manager to remove your remaining stuff on Saturday or today.
