foreclosed in wrong, now say they lost the note

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Kentucky
So what would be my plan now.Foreclsoed in wrong name we answered back to the summons, now they replied that they lost the note.
Big question what would be my options now.

Thanks

Please write in complete sentences and describe what has happened.
What do you mean "in the wrong name?"
What stages of the foreclosure proceedings have happened so far?
Are you in default on the loan or not?

Lender A sold loan to lender B in July also lender B has a loan servicer compnay that takes payments. Now Lender B filed foreclsoure using the note for Lender A which is released according to lender A as they have been paid when it was sold.Foreclosure was started by the servicer of the laon.Nothing has Lender B as note holder no assignment paper work no nothing.
I filed response to the foreclosure before the dealine was up,so they filed another response that the note was lsot and they don't have it and that is the last i heard so far no court date as of yet.
I was late for july and aug.payment called them and they said to send in a payment everything would be fine as long as it was postmarked by sept.5th.so i sent payment then they held it in suspense until after sept.19 when they filed foreclsoure then cashed payment.I'v tried to work with them but you can never talk to anyone that will work with you and you never speak to the same one twice. The serviers are so sneaky you have to watch every move with them as you cannot talk to the suppoed note holder.
Thanks

If you are 100% caught up include late/legal fees validly tacked on, then you should be able to get the foreclosure suit dismissed.
