Foreclosure affecting spouse-I have a property that I own free and clear (in Florida). -My spouse has a property that he has in Florida as well. His property might go into foreclosure. How will it affect me? Will they be able to put a lien on my property? I have never had anything to do with his property (never guaranteed or co-owned it). My property is in my name only. My husband transferred the property into my name last year. |

| It should neither affect your property or your individual credit. However, his credit is trashed and you may find it impossible to obtain credit going forward by association.
