foreclosure questions

What is the name of your state? PA

Our second mortgage co. is foreclosing on our house. We will be moving into a rental, but I need to know if there are any legal rammifications that could come back and bite us. Can we be sued if the second mortgage co. doesn't get what they want? How do we handle things with the first mortgage co.?
If we can be sued and have nothing, what then?
