| | | foreclosure in TX
I tried to do a short sale before foreclosure on my property but the "investors" refused to except the offer (I worked with the mortgage company form the start filled out all there paperwork, tax returns, financial statements, etc). The house will be foreclosed on this tuesday. My question is this: What happens now? What can they do to me now? I don't have anything (don't own my present house & cars are all older lots of miles) and no money (took a pay cut in a forced move) and two kids (soon to be 3) in college. I'm sure they will come after me for whatever ballance but what can they get? I need some advice on what to do? Should I look into bankrupsy? I'm open to any and suggestions here as I don't know what to do?
What the worst that can happen? Is there any way I can get offensive instead of just sitting back and being defensive?
