Foreclsure AuctionWhat is the name of your state? Maryland My house was up for Public Auction today, January 24th. Does anyone know how I can find out if it was sold to a high bidder and, if so, who it is or if the mortgage company got it back? This would help me in knowing how much time I have to move. Thanks. ![]() |

GaAttyIt is not going to make any difference in the time you have to move out, anyone who bought your house, whether mortgage company or not, has to file a dispossessory action, which must then be served on you. You then have time to answer and to go to a court date. You are probably looking at about 4-6 weeks. |
