help: house sell/foreclosure

What is the name of your state? Minnesota
Hi, any advices/suggestion in my situation is much appreciated. After using my identity to open credit cards without my knownledge, my wife want a divorce. http://forum.freeadvice.com/showthread.php?t=390028
She asked me to sign a Quit Claim Deed now and she will refinance the house sometime in the future.
Right now, she does not have the credit/income to refinance nor the $$. I already moved out of the house (only her mom lived there). Is there anyway that I can force a sell of the house (given the current housing market, it'll be a lost) or a forclosure (in the worse case, cause she screw my credit already)? Personally, I do not want to keep nor see the house.
Is there any option or solution to this situation? I never been thru this before. Any help is much appreciated. ThanksWhat is the name of your state? What is the name of your state?

file a police report against her for identity theft

file for divorce and a motion for sale of the house

do not sign a quit claim deed, do not let her refinance later, and really you should move back into the house now and evict her mother.

Forcing a sale of the house outside of divorce proceedings would be quite difficult. However, once you are in divorce proceedings, you can be sure that the house's sale (or reasonable alternative compensation) is done in your interests.

Don't sign a Quit Claim deed without consulting an attorney. If you do so, you could be giving up valuable legal rights even if the house would only be sold at a loss.

Best of Luck
