HOA foreclosureI own an investment property in Dallas County, TX but I don't reside in TX. I recently received a Notice of Assessment Lien from the HOA in that area for non-payment of HOA dues and misc. fees. I hadn't received a notice or statement before the lien notice. I mailed the HOA a check for the HOA dues but did not pay the misc. fees. Is my home protected from foreclosure under Texas Property Code - Section 209.009 (Foreclosure Sale Prohibited In Certain Circumstances)? |

| Why didn't you pay the fees?
