How can bankrupted-forecloser property transfer?

What is the name of your state? California

If a property is in foreclosure, and the owner filed bankruptcy. Can the own transfer the property? If so, what is it different from selling the property?

Thanks!

You should ask your bankruptcy attorney these questions.

Real property can't be transferred while a debtor is in bankruptcy unless the Trustee authorizes the transfer.

**A: if there is a bonafide sale, a legal transfer can be completed subject to the consent of both the foreclosing lender and the BK Trustee.
