How long before foreclosure??

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? FL
How long the foreclosure process takes??
My dad just informed me that he did not make any mortgage payment this month and can not make any anymore. ( I guess I need to finish the basement so they can move in with me ).

How long before the bank starts the foreclosure action is up to them. They could go any time from the time the payment is not made, typically it takes a couple of missed payments without acknowledgement.

After that, it takes a few months. The owner must be served, a hearing scheduled (no non-judicial foreclosures in Florida), a judgement issued, and then the sale scheduled.

How long it takes fore foreclosure

It definitely depends on the state. Check out this foreclosure time line state by state. That should answer your question.

That's why we make them put their state in. The answer I gave is for the poster's state of Florida.
