How long does Mortgage Company have to pay out proceeds?

We refinanced and signed on 7-23, they paid off mortgage on 7-29. We were also paying off all credit cards (that was the reason for refinancing). We picked up some checks on 7-28. Some of the checks were wrong and were to be paid to us directly, however they still have not gave me the checks (as of 8-2).

My question is: Is there any time limit on them getting me the checks?

I know they are charging me interest as of 7-28, shouldn't they have to give me the money?
