Incorrect Property Address

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Mississippi

New here, quick question.

I have a mortgage which includes a double wide mobile home, bought new, with 3.5acres of private land.(given to me by relatives).

This mortgage was refinanced in 2003 September. Note; The house was moved when bought new in Sept. 1999. It was moved to the 3.5acre lot is still sits on today, and has never budged since.

The mortgage company has/put the wrong address on the loan in 2003. The loan has been sold 3 times since to different companies. I have been trying to get the problem corrected with each different company, all with failures.

The county, which has lot numbers, parcel numbers, has all the correct information on the property.

The problem I am having is with insurance on the property. My lender keeps placing lender placed insurance on the property. They are in short, insuring my neighbor's house, as they are the ones that the incorrect property address reflects. They will not accept my coverage with the correct property address, and as of this post, they are sending letters with foreclosure on them, since my balance is past due.

I have made, and continue to make my mortgage payments. These payments do not include any escrow amounts for the lender placed insurance. My lender is cashing my checks.

I have spoken to many people about this, I have sent lots(a boxful) of information to correct the change. Property tax records for example, and have only been given promises that someone will look into this matter.

I am fed up, and want this fixed, even if it means facing foreclosure, with an attorney by my side.

What are my options, and I am going to see an attorney soon, what type should I look for?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

I sent the mortgage company a letter of dispute today. I informed them,(yet again) of the incorrect property address, and how their purchase of lender placed insurance at the incorrect property address, which has caused the account to have a deliquent balance was being disputed, and would not be paid by me.

I am sending the letter certified mail with return receipt requested.

Any comments are welcomed;
