Joint morrtgage

I have my own home with the mortgage soley in my name.
I married for the second time in 2005. I have never put my new husband on the mortgage. I have a pre-nup agreement signed (sounds stuffy i know), but having been through divorce once, i want to protect what belongs to my children. The pre-nup wasn't done by a solicitor, but is signed and witnessed. Although they're not really recognised in the UK, i'm told it was better to have one than not.
I also have a will drawn up.
My question is really, should i divorce, what rights would my husband have to my property and would it make any difference to his rights if he were on my mortgage?
