What is the name of your state? GA my ex husband was suppose to remove my name off a mortage we had jointly, but instead I found out today that he has not removed my name off the mortage note, that he agreed to take in our divorce settlement, the mortage is now in forclosure, can this mortage company legally come after me and my credit be ruin???:confused????

Your husband has no legal right to remove your name from the mortgage, and if it is included in your family court order, it is unenforceable.

Yes, you are still contractually liable for the mortgage.
