MI-Sheriff posting notice

What is the name of your state? MI
My home is listed for an equity loan mortgage forclosure sale taking place on June 22, 2006. The Sheriff's Dept. has posted notice on the home. The Officer says I will recieve an eviction notice after the mortgage sale, and that I could request a hearing in front of a judge to stay longer in the home. He could not give me an estimate on how long before final eviction might happen, just that it takes "a long time". The home is listed with a broker, and we will continue to try and sell it after the mortgage sale during the 1 year redemption. I have nowhere else to live, unless the house sells, and provides a small amount of cash to me.
Does anyone have experiance with this in Michigan, and can you give me an rough estimate of how long before I am out in the street?

Hmm, no one answered my question, but the information I have been told by other people is that I can stay for the entire year-so I will be here until evicted I guess. Thank you to all who read my post.
