Mortgage


What is the name of your state? Massachusetts

My sister had recently refinance the mortgage and added my name with her on the mortgage and now my wife had left me and in the process of divorcing...she wanted to sue me for mortgage...can she do that**************

HOW did your name get on the mortgage?

WHAT is your wife wanting to sue you for?

My sister bought a house under her name only...then a few year later she refiance the house and added my name to the mortgage because she need extra income to help support her.....and now I'm in the process of a divorce...my wife want the share that I have in that property....can she do that.....

You're not being helpful but it sounds like you do not have any interest in the land; only an obligation to pay a debt.

If your wife wants to pay your debt, I'd let her!
