I am in the state of Kansas.
Can I legally enter into a Mortgage Assumption contract; I do have a mortgage on my condominium?

Does your mortgage contain a Due on Transfer Clause does the language in the mortgage state the mortgage IS assumable? Is so, does it say it includes a release of liability, because even if A LOAN is legally assumable, IT MAY NOT RELEASE LIABILTY. The answers are in a careful read of your mortgage. Likely it is not.
