Question

Mortgage company doesn't want to forclose

What is the name of your state? Ohio

Our house went into forclosure back in 2004. It was supposed to go into a sherriff sale, but then it was removed from the list. I tried to find out what was going on and I found out through email from our mortgage company, that they no longer have the note that another mortgage company does. They told me that due to the estimated value of the property that their not going to pursue forclosure action. We filed bankrupt in October of 2005 and it was discharged in December. I would like to know what does that mean for us and what should we do. I found out that we will be unable to purchase any more property as long as that house is in our name. So what do we do?
Thanks

foreclosure

we have not lived there since 2004 and we haven't been making payments since 2004. We had lived there and when our family grew, we had to move due to needing more space. We had tried renting it out twice, but both times the tenants had really messed the house up, the second tenant didn't damage it as bad as the one before, but there was still damage. we just couldn't afford to keep fixing it up and making 2 house payments at the same time. So what do we do? Is there anything we can do?
Thanks
