Mortgage / Deed Ownership Mismatch

I went into the home buying market with my girlfriend a year ago, her sister's boyfriend's sister was our realtor and found a house for us in Waterford. The house and the mortgage were supposed to be in my name. When we closed on the house the realtors rushed us along because the seller had to make it past the bank in time before it closed(whatever). She had papers to sign.

I recently discovered that the deed was in fact in both our names however the mortgage is in my name only.

I'm worried that if she discovered this she might get greedy, and when it comes time to sell the house she would say she has no obligation to pay the mortgage. Is this a possibility? and if so, is there any way I can get out of this situation without heavy attourney fees?
